What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the program you’re interested in, your enrollment timeline, and whether you’re an Alabama resident. If you enroll, our payment processor collects payment information — we never see or store your full card details.
How we use it
We use your contact information to reach you about the program you asked about — by phone, email, or text — and to manage your enrollment if you become a student. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Who processes it
We use trusted service providers to run our school: a customer relationship platform (GoHighLevel) to manage admissions communication, Stripe and Klarna to process payments, and Vercel to host this website. Each processes your data only to provide their service to us. If you enroll, we share the information needed for training delivery and externship placement with our course providers and employer partners.
These categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — that information is never shared with any third parties.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the text-message consent box on one of our forms, you give express written consent for United Trade School to send you text messages at the mobile number you provided, about the program you asked about and your enrollment. The box is never checked for you, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of enrolling in any program or purchasing anything. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We keep a record of when you gave consent and the exact wording you agreed to, so we can show it if a carrier asks. Full details are in our SMS / Text Messaging Terms.
How long we keep it
Student records are retained for a minimum of three years to meet workforce-training record-keeping requirements. Lead information for people who don’t enroll is kept only as long as we have a legitimate reason to follow up.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary — they keep the site working, remember what you typed into a form, and help us block abuse. We also use analytics and advertising measurement tools (for example Google) to understand how visitors find us and which pages lead to enrollments, which may set cookies or use device identifiers. If you arrive from an ad, we may record which campaign referred you so we know what’s working.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies specifically. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you outside our own site, and we never use them to share your mobile number or SMS consent with anyone.
How we protect your information
The whole site is served over encrypted HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Your information is stored with established providers — GoHighLevel for admissions records, Stripe and Klarna for payments — each protected by their own security programs. We never see or store your full card number; payments are handled entirely by the processor.
Access to student and applicant records is limited to the staff who need it to do admissions, student support, or billing work, and administrative access is protected by individual accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we don’t promise absolute security — but if a breach ever affected your personal information, we would notify you as required by law.
Your choices
You can opt out of marketing communication at any time — reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, email admissions@unitedtradeschool.com.
